**The Northern Lights Saloon is a restaurant like no other. Its unique location, off grid limitations and wide range of visitors makes the saloon hum with excitement all summer long.**

Visiting one of the last outposts in Montana offers a glimpse of life in a timeless setting where you are closer to a grizzly bear than a Starbucks, where there are no cell phones or wifi hotspots, and where wild things roam.

First built in 1916 by Wild Bill Adair and his wife Emma, The Northern Lights Saloon is a special place next to the North Fork of the Flathead River and Glacier National Park. A place where the whiskey flows and community gathers, we strive to create an experience for everyone to feel a connection to the saloon, Polebridge and the mountains that surround us.

Polebridge is a town that is completely off the grid with a community that works hard to offer you an amazing elevated experience. Good food, strong drinks and live music brought to you by people who live to be in the wilderness.

In spring of 2025 Katie Griffis and Austin Wallis purchased the beloved saloon from Heather Matthews. The couple had the opportunity to be general managers of the saloon in the summer of 2024, and Heather gave them the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase it in the spring of 2025.
